RECYCLED SCRAP LOOKS ANYTHING BUT SCRAPPY
UNION CITY, CA (July 27, 2007) -- As a leader in making pet products with purpose, Otis and Claude now announces its new earth-friendly line of toys. The new Barkin Black color is a reuse of Stylastomer ™, the company’s unique buoyant non-toxic material.
While initially available with the Bettie® toys, the company plans to expand the reuse program to it’s other toy lines by the end of the year. “We want to do our part in thinking smart about our impact on the environment,” says company founder, Diana Flynn.
Available immediately through specialty pet retailers nationwide. Online through HealthyPets.com, EntirelyPets.com and wholesale through WholesaleHP.com and Otis and Claude direct. The new Barkin Black Bettie® will retail for $13.99. 10% of the proceeds from Barkin Black Bettie sales will be donated to the Search Dog Foundation.
The company started with a toy-obsessed chocolate lab name Dylan, a hip San Francisco loft and an idea that pet products could be better. In a time when dreams of making millions off every sillyidea.com, Diana quit her job in the high tech industry and set off to do something quite different. Since the initial success of its first product, the Bettie® dog toy, the company has added several new lines of toys, bowls and accessories.
